چکیده
In the current perusal, 12 isolates of Pseudomonas were segregated by rhizospheric soil chickpea (Cicer arietinum) Madhya Pradesh, India. Isolated test organisms characterized morphologically, biochemically and 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Out 12, one isolate designated as P4 was identified aeruginosa through sequencing, which revealed 100% homology with strains DSM 50071 NBRC 12689. The phylogenetic examination accomplished utilizing MEGA-X to confirm identity P4. nucleotide hierarchy from submitted in National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database under bank accession number MT116414. exhibited multiple plant growth promotion properties like phosphate solubility, indole acetic acid (IAA) production, 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate (ACC) deaminase, siderophores, ammonia (NH3) hydrogen cyanide (HCN) activities, biocontrol activities against phytopathogenic fungi Fusarium oxysporum Macrophomina phaseolina.

Characterization of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria associated with chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.)
Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are known to influence plant growth by various direct or indirect mechanisms. In search of efficient PGPR strains with multiple activities, a total of 150 bacterial isolates belonging to Bacillus, Pseudomonas, Azotobacter and Rhizobium were isolated from different rhizospheric soil of chick pea in the vicinity of Allahabad. These test isolates were bi...

متن کاملCharacterising root trait variability in chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) germplasm
Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) is an important grain legume crop but its sustainable production is challenged by predicted climate changes, which are likely to increase production limitations and uncertainty in yields. Characterising the variability in root architectural traits in a core collection of chickpea germplasm will provide the basis for breeding new germplasm with suitable root traits ...
متن کاملEffect of plant growth-promoting Streptomyces sp. on growth promotion and grain yield in chickpea (Cicer arietinum L)
The physiological and molecular responses of six strains of Streptomyces sp. (CAI-13, CAI-85, CAI-93, CAI-140, CAI-155 and KAI-180), with their proven potential for plant growth-promotion (PGP) in rice were studied to understand the mechanisms causing the beneficial effects. In this investigation, those six strains were evaluated for their PGP capabilities in chickpea in the 2012-13 and 2013-14...
متن کاملGENETIC DIVERGENCE IN CHICKPEA (Cicer arietinum L.)
Genetic diversity of 27 chickpea genotypes was studied through Mahalanobis D and Principal Component analysis. The genotypes under study fall into five clusters. The cluster II contained the highest number of genotypes (11) and Cluster I contained the lowest. Cluster I produced the highest mean value for number of pods per plant. The inter cluster distances were much higher than the intra clust...
